My relatives from Bangkok are over in my place now, till the this Friday.
It's been kinda... Hectic having them around, especially with my little cousin playing with me.
Buttttt, I do enjoy their company. In fact, they made me wanna come home faster, just so that I can see them, or just talk to them for awhile. Haha.

Yes, I think my shopping urges are finally back, after being stagnant for awhile because of the recent trip I had.

OMBG! How long has it been again manzzzzzz.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I know I haven't been the best bloggers; keeping you guys in the lurch on my latest updates. Well, that's if, you guys are actually still reading this blog. Haha.

School's been a bitch with all the projects and tests & more projects and test.
It's as if all of them are never-ending.
Like what Thewthew said, 'How I wish I can stop schooling. Too tiring already.'
But I know, when we actually stop schooling, we'll miss it. In fact, we'll actually want to go back to our old schooling days. Ironic much.

Ahh, it's always like that. Which brings me back to the days of being in Bowen. I used to wish sooo much to finish O's and just enjoy the holidays and stuff. But when I was out, I wanted so badly to go back to school. Sigh, Humans. We can never be satisfied.

Moving on,
AM GOING TO BANGKOK ON MONDAYYYYYY.
Hehe. It's a pity to go during GSS, but seriously, I think anyone would prefer Bangkok to GSS. Anytime. Haha.

Will be going for one week, as usual. Hopefully, I won't put on so much weight. I'd like to be recognizable when I'm back. Haha.

Okay, I know its been ages since I last updated.
Before that boy nags at me even further, I guess I'll give a quick update.

Chinese New Year this year has been..
REALLY HOT.
I think its the hottest one I've ever had so far.
My living room feels like an oven!
Even when I'm wearing shorts and all, its still so bloody hot.
Bloody weather.
But.. I guess a hot day is better than a rainy day? Haha.

Ohman, I've gotten so used to typing in Iphone that using the laptop now feels weird.
Iphones-.- Haha.
I've practically thrown my laptop away, now that I've gotten my Iphone.
I use it for MSN, twittering (Yes, I twitter) and blogging. Haha.
Over-reliance on this phone? I think yes.
Maybe I should cut down and start exercising those fingers. Haha.

So anyway, these past few days I've been binging on those goodies and erm, sleeping all day and hmmmm. eat somemore. Haha.
I'm finally getting that long deserved rest.
But the goodies aren't as nice as last year's:(
So not much of enjoying. Haha.

I have gained new friends.

This week, or rather, month, has been a super mega ultra busy one for me.

What a wonderful meeting.

Bargaining with the uncle for fresh prawns. Okay, not really bargain. More of, nagging? NO WAY WAS I FLIRTING OKAY. Haha.

Walking from Sheng Siong to Hougang Point carrying two heavy bags while AMANDA carried the lightest two.

Walking to Hougang Point to satisfy my craving for bubbletea. Ice Jelly from there didn't turn out nice. The old usual is still the best. Ha ha.
Amanda the pig started chionging for the food, and died out the fatest. The rest of us were still stuffing ourselves with food.
Amanda didn't know how to peel prawns, so she resulted in eating everything. Literally everything. But, at least its rich in calcium? HAHA.
Gwynnie so poor thing, her bowl was full when she left to get something.

Overall, we bought too much la. Gwynnie la, not enough not enough! I will spam the meatball one! Spam my ass-.-Haha. The 1kg of prawns too. Thank god we didn't buy more, Gwynnie wanted to buy more.
The reminiscing of the good old times. Sec 3 camp, our sec 4 days and oh so boring sec 3 days (according to Mel). Haha.

Now that we've reached to the end of the year,
I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a lil' reflecting?

Looking back...

This year has been one which is full of ups and downs.
Not that I'm complaining.
I mean, hey, if there weren't these, life would've been boring eh?
Haha.

I must admit, I've changed quite a fair bit.
Okay, I guess we all know, it's not just abit.
But rather, alot.
From my dressing style to my personality.
It's changed, completely.
But change is good, depending on how you look at it.
Some may like it, some may hate it.
But I say, I'm kinda alright with it.
I've learnt to give and take.
Not to give excessively and not to be taken advantage of.
And as a result, I've turned into more or less, a mean bitch?
Whatever it is, change is something that we have to deal with throughout our whole life.
And who knows, maybe next year, I'll change into another different person again.

Despite all the changes, I'm glad I still have friends who stuck with me.
Like, Gwynnie.
From Secondary 3 till now, after all the quarrels and misunderstandings (you know what I mean.), after all the guailan moments and gossiping sessions, we're still as close.
Or maybe even closer? Haha.
Thank you for being there for me, even with the change, even with the shit that we went through.
You're one helluva friend man.
Well, Gwynnie is not the only one. Chubbyman and all those people who've made an impact on my life, no matter whether it was at the start of the year, or to the coming end of the year, I'll never forget y'all.
Though we aren't really talking as much, I have not forgotten.
All those words of encouragement and consoling.
If I could, I would name each and everyone one of you here.
But it's too long already la. Haha.

New friends were also made this year.

You guys are definitely part of the 'ups' in my life.
One of the reasons why I look forward to school and training every single day(:

I have fallen in and out of love this year.
Yes, that devastating break up that had Gwynnie and everyone one else calling me haggard-.-
And a new beginnings. Some not meant to be, some still on-going.

After each and every relationship, we come out stronger and braver than before.
We either become cowards, or wiser.
I'm not the latter. I'm not as noble or as strong as those in fairytales.
And for that, my dear Choon Yeong had to suffer under me.
Whether it was my harsh words or my lack of closure.
But time heals, and I guess we're doing fine for now.

I don't know how things will turn out for us both.
But I know, I'll treasure every single moment.
So that when I look back the next time, it won't be full of regrets.

Yeap, so this year.
Alisa Tan has had a really wondeful year.
Knowing new friends and reconnecting with the old ones.
I would like to say I've had no regrets for this year.

What an eventful Christmas this year.
Alot of first times for me this year.
Especially during this festive season.
Haha.

Spent Christmas Eve having training in the morning.
Ohmygod. It was terrible but somehow, I'm glad I went.
Made me realise how much I'm missing out on.
Yes, I deserve it, for not coming for training:(

Then had steamboat with family at home.
Was a really sumptuous dinner, considering the fact there wasn't only steamboat.
Hmmm.
Basically I stayed home all day la.
Had Barney calling me to rub it in-.-
NEVERMIND.
Spending some quality time with family(:
Hehe.

CHRISTMAS.
Went over to Cy's with the intention of a quiet celebration.
But somehow somewhat, we ended up in Bugis. Queuing. For. Something.
Yes, queuing, or rather, waiting for something, for 3 hours.
Walked around, got bored of the place, walked around somemore and yes, wait and wait and wait.
The amount of walking and standing that we did reminded me of the days of my IT fair.
And the feeling is seriously. Not a good feeling -.-

Decided to go home early today.

Celebrated Halloween in Night Safari yesterday.

Ice cream buffet was awesome yesterday.

Met up with Choon Yeong in the afternoon for lunch.

Still, I learnt a couple of things from today's work.
How a smile can make a difference.
Dont get me wrong.
Its not that I dont smile to them (Im friendly okay-.-)
Its just a matter of whether the smile is coming from within or a fake one.
I always do the latter cause of the bitterness I have towards them for messing my shop.

Okay, so Im not really a friendly person afterall.

BUT THE POINT IS.
I've come to realised, or rather, remember,
"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. "
So yeap, I decided to give a super nice and sweet, and most importantly, genuine, smile to everyone whom I served today.
And it kinda perked me up to see their happy faces after my smile(:

It's almost as if their smiling back cause I am.

YOOHOOOO!
After 6 days of holidaying, I'm back.
Of course, with fats, fats and more fats and not forgetting, aching feet.
Hahaha.
Okay, not so much on the aching feet.
I suppose I've gotten used to the walking so it's not so bad.
It's more of the extra baggage I've gained from the trip.
Haha.

No matter how many times I've been to this country, I cannot seem to get enough of the food!
Hahah.
Well, I'm alot better now, considering the fact that I'm not stuffing myself with their food like before.
(Yes, I'm a glutton. And I'm proud of it! -.-)
Since this is the second time that I've been there, I'm doing much more than shopping.
I started to notice the difference in our culture from theirs.
How nice the Thais are, and friendly they are.
Okay, not all la.
Especially those who pushed and bumped everyone just to get to their way.
But hey, which country doesnt have their fair share of such people?
Haha.
Back to what I was saying.
Majority of them are nice(:

I'm lucky to have relatives over there.
If it werent for their hospitality and such, I wouldnt have enjoyed my trip so much.
I really appreciate the effort that everyone made to come over.
Despite all their busy scheduels, they still arranged dinner and everything.
Ahhhh.
I love my family(:

Many a time I found myself saying, 'Ahh, how I wish I can stay here longer.'
Then again, nah, I dont think I'd want that.
The grass' not always greener on the other side.

Despite not having close ties with my relatives over here,
and having to deal with many Kiasu people,
and weird people at times,
I'd rather stay in Singapore.
It is afterall, my home.
Where all my crappy yet wonderful friends are at.

I remember my first step into Bowen.
First impression;
Long skirt. Jail like uniform.
Scary discipline teacher.

My second step into Bowen.
First tournament in Secondary school.
New form teachers.
Many experiences, many lessons learnt.
Bonds formed, friendships broken and mended.
I definitely won't forget my first mud slide!
HAHA.

My third step into Bowen.
Mini breakthrough for Bowen Badminton Secondary.
One more match to top four. Haha.
New friends, old friends.
Frictions. Friendships strengthened.
Stars were reached, earning me a third.
Actually, not only a third.
But supports, happiness and many many more.

That year, was the cherry on the top.

My fourth step into Bowen.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, the crucial step.
But putting that aside,

Finally, the memory becomes weak due to the lack of contact, and we forget each other.

Friendships are like gold.

Something I got from Jeya which left me thinking.
I know I haven't really been doing a good job in keeping in contact with my friends.

School for this week was...

Haha.
I just couldnt find any words to describe it.
Been having a rather carefree week so far.
And I have to say, Im kinda liking it.
Hahaha.
Just dont know how long can I stay like this for.

Projects have been chasing after me.
Laziness has finally caught up with me, and I've been neglecting all the projects and works to be done. Im guilty and charged for it=/
Hahaha.
I feel so bad towards my group memebers.
So from now onwards,
I SHALL WORK ON IT!

Havent really been training, another thing I've feeling guilty for.
I dont have the chance to train as much, yet here I am, slacking away; not going for training.
Ahhhh. Next week. I better buck up. Haha.

Just as this is the start of school after holidays, it is also results week.
One word: Disappointed.
I guess that word already show it all.
So yeap. I'll let it be a motivation and reminder that I have alot of catching up to do.

Finally went to one of my class outings. And I must say, IT WAS SO TOTALLY WONDERFULLY WITHOUT A DOUBT FUN. Made me wonder what is it that I've been missing out when I didnt go for the previous ones. Anyhow, Im still damn happy:) My first, and definitely not my last outing with them(: Tons of photos were taken. Shall post them next time, too lazy=/

3rd July.
Went over to Kumar's to decorate Gwynnie's cake and her box.
Haha.
It was nice and successful(:
Im so proud of us:D
Went home, prepare and finally, off we were to her place.

Cycled all the way to Sengkang and wahhh.
The ride was.
SHIOK. Haha!

Discovered a part of Sengkang today.
It was peaceful(:
The Mac there was really nice.
