How does it break?
Both friends will think that the other is busy and will not contact each other, thinking it might be disturbing the other party. As time passes, both friends will think, "Let the other one contact me first.."
After some time, both of them will think, "Why should I contact first?"
From there onwards, you will drift and ultimately becoming strangers.
Finally, the memory becomes weak due to the lack of contact, and we forget each other.
Hahah.
Friendships are like gold.
Without polishing, it becomes dull.
On the other hand, if you take care of it, it'll shine like the brightest star.
Something I got from Jeya which left me thinking.
I know I haven't really been doing a good job in keeping in contact with my friends.
And its inevitable to see that we're drifting apart.
Having nothing to say to each other.. Leaving our catching up to 'next time'.
Before we know it, we turn into strangers, relishing on the memories. "
"Oh, we used to be really good friends."
"We used to talk alot here."
Haha.
Ohwell.
"How hard can one phone call be?", you may wonder.
But with our pride and stubbornness nature, punching those numbers can be as hard as admitting your mistakes.
But how long can your pride last?
Can it bring you the happiness that friends bring you?
So, something for me and maybe some of you to ponder about.
How many more "next time"s before you really lose them?
Treasure.
love and peace to y'all,
